Linda Larkin (born March 20, 1970) is an American actress.

In the Aladdinverse Linda Larkin voices Jasmine. When Linda was little she pretended to be Disney princesses like Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Little did she know many years later she would be become a Disney princess herself. Since Aladdin Linda Larkin reprised her role of Jasmine in all following spin-offs as well in merchandise.

Landing the role of Princess Jasmine was not easy for Linda Larkin. In an interview she recalls having to go through several auditions before Jeffery Katzenberg was convinced Linda Larkin had the voice quality he was looking for to do that she had to lower her register.

Voice Change

Fans noticed that Jasmine's voiced changed in spinoffs and video games. An explanation might be that Jeffery Katzenberg wanted Linda to say her lines for Princess Jasmine in a lower register and because Jeffery wasn't involved in the sequels Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves or Kingdom Hearts 2 Linda spoke with regular voice.
