I think it was a jasmine flower, but I'm not sure.

Um, AG...the flower in that link wasn't all blue and purple and...different-looking! I thought you were going to show us something that was "JUST like the flower [he] gave her on [their] first date!"

Oh, I seriously thought I did show a blue and purple flower 
But yeah, that's always bugged me...along with him saying he knew it wasn't her birthday, yet he can't remember the anniversary of the first date. Considering they were damn near next to each other and that was one hell of a three days, you'd think he'd remember that
But he did say the sweetest line of "A year ago I fell in love with you" so that made up for it |

What also bugs me about that ep was that he gave her some random flower and said "I gave you a flower just like this one on our first date!" No you didn't!

Well, he can't even remember the first date, which was right in the middle of the biggest life-changing moment of his entire life... how the hell is he supposed to remember the flower?

I actually counted it out once, and their first date was the day before Jasmine's birthday. Which means that, that day Aladdin was so sure that the thing he'd forgotten wasn't her birthday? He was saying that on her birthday. And the very next episode that aired was "Scare Necessities", the one where he's looking for a present for her.
