Unexpected DateWritten by Marco Merkelijn and Michelle Bowen in the Aladdin Role Playing Game. Jasmine turned to Aladdin, "I am so sorry I forgot for a little while, but I have something planned for us" she said smiling after taking his hand. Lead by Jasmine to Carpet Aladdin didn't really know how to respond, "Just trust me" she waved for carpet, and then climbed on him. "I trust you Jasmine." he said. "Carpet knows the way" Jasmine said grinning at Aladdin."So are you curious?" she asked him. They flew over many oasis and Jasmine could tell that each time the flew over one Aladdin looked at her wondering if they would get off there. Aladdin was stunned, he had seen many oasis but few were as beautiful like this one. "Just be patient we have a nice walk ahead of us" she said and turned to carpet. "Thank you Carpet" she said. "Okay Jasmine I try" Aladdin said. "So what direction you want to go to?" he asked. "Well this would be the way," she said turning towards the way carpet had been flying the whole time. "I just wanted us to be able to walk," she said grinning at him. Aladdin smiled and took Jasmine's hand in his, "Let us walk then." Aladdin saw his wife thinking, he figured she was making plans for what's next or running it through her head to see if she forgot something. Aladdin hoped it was the last he smiled had something up his sleeve. He made sure Jasmine didn't saw him smiling or the twinkle in his eyes. He suddenly stopped, Jasmine stopped too but before she could ask what's wrong Aladdin pulled her close and kissed her on the lips. They kissed for a few minutes then parted, Aladdin saw that Jasmine was speechless he smiled. "If you tell where we are going you get another one" he grinned. He hoped she would tell him something, only because of that he was just very curious what she had planned for them. But also, even more if he was honest, to kiss her again. He waited for Jasmine to recover from the unexpected kiss and her reaction. Jasmine smiled and tapped his nose with her finger, Aladdin was surprised by Jasmine's reaction. She didn't bought it. Disappointed he cached on with her. The continued their walk in the moon light. After a while Aladdin said. "I was sure that you were going to tell me where we're going. But don't say you didn't enjoyed it." Jasmine grinned at him, "I never said I didn't enjoy that." She took his hand in hers and the two walked side by side until they reached a smaller field then the last. In the field they saw three figures, Genie, Carpet, and Abu. Aladdin smiled at the scene before his eyes, it looked very romantic. A moonlight picnic, he hadn't thought of that. Jasmine tapped the ground motioning for him to sit down then to emphasize it she yanked on his hand. Aladdin laughed "Okay, okay I sit down" he sat down on the blanket close to Jasmine. They had a romantic time there on the blanket in the moon light. Genie had lighted candles around them. Aladdin smiled when he recognized the shape. "It's a heart" "Well there's more but ummm that's later right now its dinner time and I'm afraid something is insisting that I eat" she said with a wink. Aladdin smiled. "I'm looking forward to it." Genie brought over some food and winked at Jasmine, "Eating for two or more princess woman" he said playfully yet with affection. Jasmine laughed, "I guess so" she looked down at the delicious food before her and Aladdin. "Princesses first" Aladdin said gesturing to the food before them. The royal couple enjoyed their moonlight picnic. The night sounds, moonlight and the candles made it a romantic time. After the meal Aladdin took Jasmine's hands in his looking her in the eye he said. "Thank you Jasmine for this wonderful time." He leaned over and kissed her. Jasmine smiled, "Oh okay your ready for more" she said and stood up Genie made the picnic disappear and carpet made stairs on himself so that Jasmine could lead Aladdin on. Aladdin wanted to say that he's ready for anything, but that would a lie. He never knew what Jasmine would do or say, it was only a small line on an endless of list of reasons what made him fall in love with her. He sat down on Carpet and they took off high into the air. Aladdin flew with Carpet hundreds of times, at day and night, just for fun or to save his life. But every time he and Jasmine went away on a romantic trip it was different. It felt like the first time they flew together, so new and exciting. Words couldn't describe it, by looking at her Aladdin could tell that Jasmine was feeling the same. The sands of the desert replaced the flora of the oasis, Aladdin sighed waiting for what was about to come. Jasmine smiled at Aladdin, "We're almost there" she said feeling very relaxed. Carpet soared over the Red sea, she knew Aladdin knew where they were now. As they came up to a small patch of trees Carpet slowed down. "Yes I remember" he returned her smile holding her hands in his he looked around the place. Trough the trees he saw the water of the Red Sea reflecting in the moon light. "It's even better then the picnic and I believed that was already wonderful. You're really something Jasmine. A few years ago I couldn't never think I would meet someone like you." Aladdin looked deeply in Jasmine's eyes while speaking. Jasmine looked into his eyes and then closed hers slightly for a moment. Her soft brown eyes opened up fully again and looked at him. Slowly she drew closer to him and kissed him gently. She wrapped her arms around him lovingly. When Jasmine's lips touched his Aladdin closed his eyes returning her kiss Aladdin put his arms around her holding her closer. They kissed long when they finally broke the kiss Aladdin still had his arms around Jasmine's waist. He smiled. "I love you Jasmine" then kissed her forehead. Jasmine smiled at him, "I love you too" she said softly. Aladdin just kept gazing at her thinking his life over, from a street rat to a prince to a father to be. All because he got a lamp with a genie in it. Aladdin did a step away and placed his hand on Jasmine's belly. "Can you feel the baby yet?" he asked with a big smile on his face. "Oh" Aladdin said blushing. A understanding look from Jasmine made him feel not so uncomfortable. This fatherhood is so new too him. "When do you think we can feel our baby?" Aladdin asked smiling at Jasmine. Aladdin felt a little embarrassed. He gazed around at the scenery. It gave him an idea. "Genie, music please!" Waiting for her answer he made a bow before her. When he came up he smelled the scent of roses. Genie made red and white roses appear all over the scenery. He held a beautiful white flower in his open hand palm, he offered it to Jasmine with a smile. "A flower for a flower." Jasmine smiled and took the flower, "Of course" she said taking his hand and the two closed the space between them and just moved slowly around the garden. Jasmine smiled she loved to dance with Aladdin it felt as if there was no one but him when they did. The musicians played and played, the couple danced and danced. Minutes seemed like an eternity. The carpet ride to the oasis, the walk and the picnic all together had taken up all day and evening. And now they were dancing, Aladdin would remember this moment for a very long time. He took the flower back from Jasmine and gently put it in her hair. "So just like our first date" he smiled and placed a kiss on the now empty hand. Aladdin and Jasmine danced for hours and hours. It was like they were the only two people in the world and for Aladdin they were. It wasn't until the first sunlight peaked over the water of the Red Sea Aladdin realized it was getting dawn. He released Jasmine from his arms. They just stood there looking in each other's eyes. Suddenly Jasmine pointed at something behind Aladdin he turned to look at what she was pointing at. In the early sunlight Aladdin saw a bench on a cliff hanging over the beach. He needed no words to understand what she meant. They climbed up the, carved away in the rock bottom, stairs to the bench and sat down there. Aladdin puts his arm around Jasmine's shoulders pulling her closer to him. Genie zapped a bed for the sleeping monkey and laid him down on it, "Just another hour, Abu. Their time together will end. Or should I delay the sun?" Genie said looking at the two sitting there. Jasmine smiled tiredly at Aladdin, and looked out at the water with the dawn sun hitting it. After the sun had risen fully she looked at Aladdin, "I guess we should head back everyone will be wondering what's going on and if we are okay" she smiled at him. Yes I guess you're right, we have been away for more then half a day and the whole night." Then Aladdin saw something in the blue sky. "Look!" he pointed. Genie fired fireworks into the air when they exploded they formed words. Jasmine sat up, "But we can't come on" she said standing up and holding out her hand for him to take. Aladdin sighed "You're right" and he took her and stood up. "Hey Genie we're ready to go home now!" Aladdin said rubbing Genie's Lamp what suddenly had appeared on the bench. "Hello, I'm Genie and I'm your pilot for this fight. Welcome to Carpet Air" Genie said in pilot suit with the logo and name of KLM on it. He looked down at his clothing, "Oops wrong flight suit" He poofed into a light blue suit with logo and name of Carpet Air on it. Aladdin helped Jasmine onto Carpet, who had stairs and wings. Then he climbed onboard too. With a rocket start Carpet set course to Agrabah. "Jasmine." Aladdin took her hand. "Thank you for the surprise." He kissed her hand. Jasmine smiled and caressed Aladdin's cheek. "I had a wonderful time myself" They where quiet for the rest of the trip. Then Carpet crossed the borders of the city. Aladdin noticed a purple blurb in the distance. "Carpet slow down and fly lower please, what's that blurb?" Aladdin asked back in his adventures spirit. "Oh that? That's only a giant serpent stuck in an alley, nothing much" Genie commented not impressed by the blurb that turned out to be Malcho's body. "Don't you need some sleep Al?" Genie asked his friend. "Ahh true love" ------ |
