I Can Say No by Storm
Chapter 1: I Can Say No
Author's Notes:

I Can Say No!

It's not so much a question of not knowing what to do.
I've known what's right and wrong since I've been ten.
I've heard a lot of stories and I reckon they are true
about how girls are put upon by men.
I know I mustn't fall into the pit,
So when I'm with a prince, I don't forget
I'm just a girl who can say no,
I'm in a terrible mess
I always say "good bye, just go"
Just when I should say yes!
When a prince tries to kiss a girl,
I know she should kiss him back.
But as soon as someone kisses me,
I really give his face a smack!
I'm not a fool when lights are low
I can't be prissy and quaint
I'm not the type that can faint
How can I be what I ain't?
I can say no!
What you going' to do when a fellow gets flirty,
and starts to talk pretty? What you going' to do?
S'posin' 'at he says 'at your lips are like cherries,
or roses, or berries? What you going' to do?
S'posin' 'at he says 'at you're sweeter 'n cream,
And he's gotta have cream or die?
What you going' to do when he talks that way,
Give him a free ride?!
I'm just a girl who can say no,
kissing is not my favorite food.
With or without the mistletoe I'm not in a holiday mood!
Other girls aren't coy and hard to catch
But other girls aren't having that much fun.
For when I lose it and send my tiger on them
I have I funny feeling that I've won
Though I try to be meek and mild,
They make me go wild.
I'm not a little child!
I can say no!!!!
