Author's Notes:

A/N:

This is just small piece of poetry that came to my head, when I was feeling the same sorts of emotions as reflected in this poem.

It is about Jasmine, and some things she would have felt in the harder parts of her teen life. Things she would feel, but never dream to say.

Things Left Unsaid

My life is like a war,
But the battle’s with myself
From which I bear the scars,
That hurt everyone else

The pain I hide inside,
Stays hidden from the world,
Beneath this great façade,
There is a crying girl

I’m always in the middle,
The cause of all the hurt
When I try to right the wrongs
I’m flattened to the dirt

I have a title to uphold
From which I cannot flee,
Through the pain I cause myself,
My worst enemy is me
