Chapter 1: Chapter 1

When Daphnie and Fredy awoke night had fallen. They saw a man with long, thick, wavy ebony black hair except for a few gray streaks, a dark gray beard, dark brown eyes, and deeply tanned skin.

He was wearing a black shirt with blue sleeves, a dark red sash, black pants, gray pointed boots, a navy blue cape with a hood and veil, and a cape pin with a golden hand on it.

"Are they coming to?" asked a voice.

They looked over to see a gorgeous woman the same age as the man. She had long, thick, straight, ebony black hair, lightly tanned skin, and brown eyes.

She was wearing a brown robe with a light brown hood that was down.

"I think they're going to be just fine."

Never had they heard such a deep, rich, handsome voice before!

The man stood up.

Never had they seen such a muscular or broad man before, either!

"Who are you? Where are we?"

"I am Cassim Ben-Hassan Al-Ababwa. This is my wife, Carina. You are safe atop a cliff."

"Did I mention that I'm afraid of heights?"

"We have bigger problems than heights, Fredy."

"Such as losing your friends?"

Fredy and Daphnie gasped.

"Shaggy and Scobby? Do you know where they are?"

"Also, how do you know about them?"

Cassim chuckled and bent down so he was at their level again.

"You talk in your sleep, my friend."

Fredy blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh."

"Do you know where Shaggy and Scooby are?"

"I have a friend that's looking into it."

"Cassim!"

"Ah. Here he is now."

A red and blue parrot came into veiw. He dropped something, which Cassim caught.

"It's Scooby's collar!"

"Iago, where did you this?"

"The Lost City of Acients."

Cassim tossed Daphnie Scobby's collar.

"Come. We must hurry if we are to save your friends."

"What do you mean?"

"I'll explain on the way. Young man, you will ride with me. Young lady, you will ride with Carina."

They got on the two horses and galloped off, following Iago.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

They reached the city the next morning.

They heard a crowd cheering.

"Your friends are in danger!"

"How do you know that?"

"I heard them scream."

"Wow. Your hearing must be really good."

"Almost as good as a dog's."

"Whoa."

"Never mind that. Come on! We've got to help your friends!"

They followed Cassim into an arena. They shouldered their way to the front and saw Shaggy and Scooby running from a scorpionlike monster!

"Oh no!"

Cassim suddenly vaulted into the arena!

"Cassim!"

He ran towards Shaggy and Scooby.

"Shaggy! Scooby!"

They stopped and looked around.

"Huh? Who called us?"

Then they saw Cassim.

"Run!"

They took off running again.

Cassim drew his sword and leaped at the monster. The blade slashed its face.

It pulled back as it screeched in pain, but not before Cassim saw a few sparks.

{What?}

Cassim dove forward and slashed one of its legs. Now he was sure it was a machine!

He nimbly leaped up onto its back and went to its head.

Cassim drove his sword into its head.

Its screech of pain stopped short. Cassim's sword had cut through its circuts.

The next moment the machine exploded!

"No!" Carina cried.

When the smoke cleared the machine was in pieces, but there was no sign on Cassim!

Carina, Fredy, and Daphnie went into the arena over to Shaggy and Scooby.

"Like, who was that guy? What was he doing?"

"He saved us yesterday, Shaggy. He just saved you guys. He helped us find you."

"Oh."

Suddenly they heard the sound of metal creaking!

They looked at the pieces of the machine. The largest one moved, and Cassim stood up!

"Cassim!"

He had just taken only a few steps away from the machine when he was bowled over by Carina!

"Oof!"

She kissed him passionately.

"Aw." said Scooby, Daphnie, and Fredy.

"Like, yuck!"

"Shaggy!"

"Don't worry about it, guys. We get that from Iago all the time. We're used to it."

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

On the way back to the Sphinx they took turns riding the horses and walking alongside.

Cassim's magnificent, chestnut stallion, Sabeek, wasn't sure of what to make of Scobby.

Finally they go back to the Shpinx.

"You guys know the way to the tomb. Lead the way."

"What about the horses?"

"They'll stay put unless I tell them otherwise."

They entered the Sphinx and headed towards Cleopatra's tomb.

They came into a huge room.

"Hold on. Stop, guys."

The others stopped.

"What is it, Cassim?"

"Something's not right."

"Like, man, you worry too much."

Shaggy stepped onto the colored floor.

"Shaggy, wait!"

"It's fine. Hey, are you guys going up?"

"No. You're going down."

Shaggy looked down.

"Like, yikes! It's quicksand!"

"There's not way for us to reach him! He's too far away!"

"Like, help!"

Cassim took his pack off and handed it to Fredy.

"Hold this."

"Uh, okay."

With one leap Cassim was in front of Shaggy and sinking, as well!

He pulled Shaggy up higher, which was hard to do since he was also sinking.

"Guys, get ready to catch him or grab him! We've only got one shot at this!"

The other got ready.

"Here goes nothing."

Cassim threw Shaggy right into the others!

"It worked!"

"Guys, we cann't celebrate just yet. Cassim's still in there!"

The quicksand was almost up to his waist!

"Guys, find a way around the quicksand!"

"What about you? We can't just leave you here!"

"Go! The ceiling it going to collapse!"

The next moment part of the ceiling collapsed!

"Go! Get out of here! Find another way into the tomb!"

"We can't leave you!"

"Go!"

The next moment the rest of the ceiling collapsed!

The others jumped back. Once the dust had settled they saw that the entire pit was covered in the debris of the ceiling!

"No. Cassim."

Fredy slung Cassim's pack over his shoulder.

"Come on. He wanted us to keep going."

Chapter 4: Chapter 4

They got into the tomb and ended up running from it collapsing and the ghost of Cleopatra!

Once they made it outside Scooby suddenly started to lick the ghost!

"What are you doing, Scooby?!"

"It's Velma!"

It was Velma!

The reunion of the friends was cut short by the voice of the thief, Von Butch.

"At last! The crown of Cleopatra is mine!"

Just as she went to put it on a noose went around it, and it was yanked away!

"What?!"

A man on a horse held the crown. His had hood and veil on his cape that were up so only his eyes could be seen.

He slid down from his horse and cam closer.

"I thank you for such a fine crown." he said with a mock bow.

"How *dare* you steal from me what I had rightfully stolen first!"

The man merely chuckled!

"Ah. Such is the life of a thief, ma'am. Such was my life for twenty years."

"You were a thief for twenty years?"

"Not only that, I was the King of Thieves, leader of the legendary Forty Thieves."

"Horray for you. Big whoop. Like I care."

"I did not ecpext it to be so easy to get away from you."

"I'll get it back just as easily."

She leaped at him and swung her foot to kick him. He leaned back, avoiding the attack.

Von Butch landed and went to kick him again.

This time he caught hold of her heel.

"Matrial arts, huh? Lets see how you well you do against the master."

He twisted her leg and sent her spinning and tumbling to the ground.

"Had enough?"

"No."

She charged him. He jumped up it the air, spun around, and struck out with his right foot.

His heel conntected with Von Butch's head!

She tumbled to the ground and lay still, out cold.

"She'll be out for a while."

"Thanks for getting the crown away from her, but who are you?"

"Fredy, come on. You don't recognize me?"

"How do you know my name?"

He pulled the hood and veil down.

"Cassim, you're alive!"

"Yes I'm alive."

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

About a year later the gang was going to Agrabah for a vaction.

As they walked through the marketplace they marveled at the beauty of the city.

Suddenly they heard a man yell.

"Make way for the general and royal vizier!"

The crowd parted and bowed as a man rode by on his horse.

"It's Cassim!"

"You're right, Velma."

"Cassim! Cassim!"

"Huh? Guys?"

Cassim got off his horse and went over to them.

"Small world. I didn't expect to see you here."

"We didn't either."

The man that had yelled came up.

"Is that how you speak to the royal vizier and general?"

"It's alright, Sahid. They're friend of mine. Go back to the palace and have our four most comfortable guest rooms made ready and our most comfortable outfits reserved for our guests laid out."

"Of course." the man said with a bow.

Then he left.

"Come, I'll show you around."

Chapter 6: Chapter 6

"So you're the general and royal vizier?"

"Yep."

"What's a royal vizier?"

"I am the sultan's chief and most trusted advisor."

"Wow."

"Like, man, how did you get it in so good with the sultan?"

"Lets just say I have a connection."

Cassim took them to the palace. After they had bathed and dressed in the Arabic clothes set out for them, the gang followed Cassim to the throne room.

"Your Majesty, allow me to introduce Fredy, Daphnie, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo."

They bowed to the sultan.

"I've heard much about you from Cassim and Carina."

Cassim led them out into the menagerie.

As they nearded the fountain they saw a magic carpet, a big, blue genie, a red and blue parrot, a monkey, a tiger, a handsome young man, a beautiful young woman, a little boy about a year old, and Carina.

The young man looked up and saw them first.

"Dad!"

"What did he just call you?"

"I told you I had a connection. He's my son, Prince Aliaddin Ben-Cassim Al-Ababwa of Agrabah, or just Prince Aladdin."

"Whoa."

Cassim introduced them to the rest of the gang as they came over.

Only Carina and the little boy stayed behind.

As they got closer Cassim quickened his strides then stopped a few feet away.

He bent down she he was almost at the boy's level.

"Ali."

The boy turned and smiled when he saw Cassim.

"Come here."

"Papa!" he squealed happily.

He toddled over to Cassim as fast as he could.

Cassim picked him up, stood up, and put the boy on his shoulders.

"Up you go, buddy."

The others came over.

"Fredy, Daphnie, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby, this Prince Ali Ben-Aladdin Al-Ababwa, or just Prince Ali."

"Same last name as you?"

"Of course, if that's what you call the Al-Ababwa part. He's my grandson."

"He is?!"

"Yes he is."

Ali suddenly pushed Cassim;s turban down over his eyes!

"Omf! Hey!"

Ali laughed and clapped his hands.

"Aladdin, a little help here."

Aladdin chuckled and took his father's turban off.

"Thanks."

Cassim gave the gang a tour of the menagerie and palace.
