Who is Mozenrath?

Mozenrath is an evil sorcerer from the Disney's Aladdin TV series, and is about Aladdin's age. He is the ruler of the Land of the Black Sands, which is guarded by his undead servants, the mamluks. He also has a sidekick, a flying, talking eel named Xerxes.

Mozenrath became the ruler of the Land of the Black Sands by overthrowing its former ruler, the wizard Destane - who was apparently so powerful that even Jafar feared him, and who Mozenrath says was "like a father" to him - and turning him into a mamluk.

The source of Mozenrath's magic power is his magic glove, the gauntlet. However, the gauntlet also is slowly killing Mozenrath, and has reduced the hand that wears it to a mere skeleton.

Mozenrath's goals are to conquer the Seven Deserts, and eventually the world, and to increase his magic power, often by tying to steal Genie's magic.
