Why would he change his name?

I like Brad, but I also like Caleb too.

Is he trying to keep away from his animation roots?

But yeah, that might be why. It's not like it's gonna do much, though. He's still Aladdin's singing voice to me, although you can't really tell listening to those songs. We are gonna get to the point where we need second generation singing voices Shocked

I'm not sure. One fan site I saw said his full name is Bradly Scott Kane. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything more "official" to confirm or deny that.

Like I suspected, the fansite was wrong. Here is what he had to say about the name change on his message board:

"Caleb has always been my middle name. I just decided over the last several years of travail in my life that I needed to make drastic changes. Ditching my first name was just one of many. Caleb had always been too biblical for me as a kid (from what I understand, in the Bible he was one of the guys who wandered the desert w/ Job), but since I felt I had suffered indignities of biblical proportions of the last several years, it suddenly felt appropriate. It's just more consistent with who I am now. Shouldn't we all be allowed to exercise the power of choice in our own lives? Very Happy

In the next post he made in the thread that was in - he was going on about coffee.
