I don't know what it is, but something about that Aladdin doll is somewhat unnerving. Is it just me or does his hair look like a coconut?
That being said, I would totally wear that fanny pack or even the palace button up shirt. They are adorable.
That Loungefly backpack is pretty cool, especially if someone is a hardcore Jafar fan. That company always makes super cool backpacks for the different Disney movies. _________________ "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." - Robin Williams |

He looks a little better on the back of the box when you add the hat:
What's funny to me is since he's the only male doll, so for extra male outfits they want you to dress him up in Beast's clothing

Now that I think about it, his hair may have been off because when is Aladdin NOT wearing a hat?
I am kinda living for how random these dolls are. It is so weird seeing Aladdin in modern clothing and not in MC Hammer pants. _________________ "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." - Robin Williams |

All modern Aladdins has to have a hat or hoodie. It's law
It's not *really* supposed to be Aladdin so much as a regular person like me and you who happens to like Aladdin and wears the Disneybound/themed outfits to show off how much. I wasn't interested in the dolls until they made him. Aladdin himself gets so little, but he's really the best prince to start this off with tbh.
Here's Jasmine's for reference:

Oh, I totally misunderstood the concept behind that doll then I thought it was the Disney character in something like a modern day setting, but still styled with the elements of their movie.
Well, I feel sheepish...
I do think we should have a mini revolution for lack of actual Aladdin character merchandise. I love all the characters from the movie, but when the merchandise is severely lacking on the main character, then I get annoyed. #justiceforAladdin _________________ "You're only given a little spark of madness. Hooray baby stuff!
I was always confused by that whole "I'm not a peacock" thing followed by her dressed like a literal peacock in basically everything for a while. _________________

Hijabs, shawls, sweaters, etc. that are Aladdin themed. They're all so stunning. It's taking everything in me not to buy one or two, but that probably won't last long now that I've discovered they do international shipping
Iron Studios is going to make an Aladdin and Jasmine figurine:
A nice thing about them is they make three variants at three different price points so you don't have to miss out on the piece if you're willing to sacrifice a few details here and there. You can see an example with the little mermaid pieces here: https://www.ironstudios.com/little%20mermaid?_q=little%20mermaid&map=ft
It's not officially out yet but I'll let you guys know when it is. |

What did I tell y'all? They just came in today and they're stunning. I went with sea salt for the shawl and cream for the square because I like how the palace looked in the background better than the 'photo negative' effect of the darker ones (although they look amazing, too). I wanted one in pink, but they were sold out at the time (thanks, Barbie ). |

Sorry if this has been posted before - the American Girl line of dolls recently released a Jasmine, a Belle, and a Rapunzel. They only produced 4,000 of each doll, which cost $300 each, I guess at least partly because of the real crystals on their outfits.
Here's Jasmine: https://www.americangirl.com/products/american-girl-disney-princess-jasmine-collector-doll-hrp56
I don't think the face mold they chose looks much like Jasmine, but I really like her outfit! |

I was debating posting that because I think I'm the only one who really likes dolls here
But I did see that and she's pretty, but not for that price (even with real crystals). It's the same feeling I get with this Jasmine doll that's coming up from Mattel (she's further down the page): https://creations.mattel.com/pages/disney-princess-drop-radiance-collection
So pretty and yay for the purple dress (which is not used as much as you think after all these years), but $75??? Nah. $35-40 AT BEST.
I will say that designer - Mark Monterroso - always goes for not-so-often-used designs for Jasmine and I respect him SO much for it . He did Jasmine's Ultimate Princess Celebration doll for the designer collection in red. |
